Serbia Signs the Artemis Accords and Opens a New Chapter of Cooperation with NASA

By signing the Artemis Accords, Serbia has opened a new chapter of cooperation with NASA and joined the community of nations working together to shape the future of space exploration.
On this occasion, Ambassador Šutanovac emphasized that this step continues the long tradition of contributions made by Serbian scientists and the Serbian-American community to the advancement of space exploration. He recalled the significant role of Mihajlo Pupin in the establishment of the NACA, the predecessor of today's NASA, as well as the contributions of seven Serbian-American engineers to the Apollo program, which enabled humanity's first landing on the Moon.
The Artemis Accords create new opportunities for scientific collaboration, technological innovation, and Serbia's active participation in the new era of space exploration.
