Meeting with Senator Rand Paul

Ambassador Dragan Šutanovac had an exceptionally productive meeting and exchange of views with Senator Rand Paul on the strategic partnership and relationship between Serbia and the United States. The conversation touched on the importance of free trade, cooperation, and the use of diplomatic means for achieving peace and prosperity.
Senator Paul emphasized the importance of freedom in foreign policy decision-making, as well as the role of trade and commerce in fostering economic growth and prosperity. Just as Kentucky is home to one of the finest bourbons in the United States and the world, Serbia is renowned for its rakija, and Ambassador Šutanovac presented Senator Paul with a bottle of the finest Serbian šljivovica.
