Ambassador Šutanovac’s Visit to the United States Military Academy at West Point

Ambassador Dragan Šutanovac, accompanied by Minister-Counsellor Stefan Dragojević, visited the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he met with the Academy’s Superintendent, Lieutenant General James B. Bartholomees III.
The Ambassador delivered a lecture to the cadets on the historical ties between Serbia and the United States and their alliance in both world wars, Serbia’s foreign policy priorities, and prospects for bilateral relations. The visit also included lunch with the cadets, providing an opportunity for informal conversation and an exchange of views.
He presented the Academy’s library with books on the heritage of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the United States, Operation Halyard, and Serbs in the U.S. military.
